The atmosphere in the Horse and Groom bar is as warming as its grand open fire. The flagstone floor, aged wooden tables and wood-panelled bar provide a traditional public-house charm.
The cask beers are expertly cared for, maintained by the landlord in an old-fashioned underground cellar and raised directly to the glass using a traditional hand pump, helping to ensure that the ales are of the highest standard.
The bar is also well stocked with carefully selected lagers and ciders, as well as wines that are sourced from specialist importers.
Keep up to date with what’s being poured behind the bar, including guest ales and new wines, on the Horse and Groom blog.
